Heart health and awareness is deeply personal to me as both my sister and I were born with congenital heart defects. While I’ve been fortunate to remain healthy and asymptomatic, my younger sister required open heart surgery at a young age. Seeing her go through that experience showed me how critical early detection, education, and support for heart disease truly is.
