Participating in Leaders of Impact is personally important to me because as a pediatric cardiologist, I see the staggering impact heart disease has on children and their families. Children born with rare or complex heart conditions remind us how critical specialized care and innovation are. But the truth is, only in caring for every child's heart can we reduce the risk of lifelong heart disease.
