I’m honored to stand alongside an incredible group of changemakers who are deeply committed to improving women’s health.
I believe heart health is something that isn't talked about enough but yet so many people have been impacted by it one way or another. I lost my dad suddenly to a heart condition when I was a teenager. He went to all of his regular doctor check-ups, stayed active playing golf, took care of himself, and by all outward appearances was healthy. His passing was unexpected and life-altering, and it planted a quiet awareness in me that heart health isn’t always visible and can affect anyone, at any age.
Years later, as I began learning more about women’s health through my work in fitness, yoga, and holistic wellness, that awareness deepened. I started to see just how interconnected our heart health is with stress, hormones, movement, nutrition, sleep, and emotional well-being. I also learned how often women put their own health last, ignoring signs of burnout, exhaustion, or imbalance because they’re busy caring for everyone else.
Supporting women in reconnecting with their bodies has become deeply personal to me. When women understand their health, honor their stress levels, move their bodies with intention, and nourish themselves consistently, they aren’t just improving fitness, they’re protecting their hearts and their futures.
That’s why being part of Go Red for Women means so much to me. This campaign isn’t just about raising funds; it’s about education, awareness, and empowering women to advocate for their health at any moment in life.
Since 2004, Go Red for Women has been addressing the awareness and clinical care gaps of the leading cause of death in women - cardiovascular disease. But there is still so much work to be done. Go Red for Women is committed to funding women-centric research, empowering women to live healthy, and supporting women in reducing their risk of cardiovascular disease through all ages, stages and seasons of life.
By supporting this campaign, you’re helping fund life-saving research, close critical gaps in women’s heart health, and remind women everywhere that their health matters.
Together, we truly are stronger against cardiovascular disease.
