Please help me save lives with the American Heart Association!
I’m participating in my school’s Kids Heart Challenge and raising funds to help everyone have healthy hearts. I’m also learning things like how to keep my own heart, brain and lungs strong, how to save a life with Hands-Only CPR, the warning signs of a stroke and ways to de-stress.
As you know, I was born with a very special heart, at 2 days old Iwas diagnosed with a Small Restrictive Supracristal Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD) and in August 2021, I endured open-heart surgery to repair the VSD on my attic valve. I also lost his Aunt Jaime in December 2020 who endured heart failure.
The Kids Heart Challenge Heart Hero, is a program through the American Heart Association with his elementary school. Finley will be learning about about the heart, brain and vascular health. Students are able to earn the Heart Hero Explores through donation, teamwork, leadership, being active, choosing water and showing kindness!
