Chrissy died suddenly on April 5, 2019 of a heart attack. She was only 51 years old. She is predeceased by her son Peter and leaves behind her daughter Nicole, two beautiful granddaughters whom she adored, Sophia and Abigail, and grandson Cristiano. Her longtime boyfriend, Jon found her on the couch and thought she was sleeping. When Chrissy did not respond to his calling her name, Jon made an attempt to resuscitate her with the assistance of 911 dispatch. But it was too late. Heart disease for women is a silent killer and a force to be reckoned with. Don't let it steal another beautiful soul. Chrissy's parents, John and Joanne Matanes, the rest of her family and many dear and close friends will miss her terribly. Chrissy had an inspiring love for animals, enjoyed cooking, crafting and gardening and had a charming, charismatic personality and was loved by many.
Any amount helps. We are grateful for your support!
