|Volunteers are needed for this
year’s Heart Walk. Below is a brief description
of the roles we need filled. If you are
interested in volunteering, please complete this form & return by email,
fax or mail.
Planning: Volunteers are needed now to help make this year’s event successful. Key/lead volunteers are needed for the food area, AHA Tent, Kids Zone, Health Expo & Vendor area. If you are interested in helping to plan this year’s event, please email me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org. As a key/lead volunteer, you will be asked to attend monthly planning meetings.
Day of Event Volunteers:
Set-up: Set-up the night before the walk at the field.
Greeters: Help direct foot traffic to proper registration areas, hand out program/maps
Registration: Assist walkers, volunteers, vendors, and survivors check in and donation collection
T-shirt tent: assist $100+ fundraising walkers picking up their earned t-shirts
American Heart Association Tent: Assist with questions, hand out materials, sell branded items
Health Expo: Assist vendors and attendees in the Health Expo area. Manage participant waiver for anyone wishing to have a health screening.
Kid Zone: Assist vendors and attendees with the YMCA sponsored Kids Zone
Food/Beverage Tent: Keep snacks and beverages stocked and readily available
Walk Route: Route Marshalls necessary to assist with road blocks and traffic. Set up, clean-up, water stations, and more.
