Everyone knowssomeone affected by heart disease or stroke.

I am fundraising for the American Heart Association - Philadelphia Heart Walkscheduled for Saturday, November 4th at Citizen’s Bank Park, downPhiladelphia from 8:00 am - noon.

I am walking in memory of my nephew Tyler Rich.  Our family lost him onAugust 2, 2000 to Hypoplastic left heart syndrome (“HLHS”) and other family andfriends who has had any heart related issues.

I have again agreed to accept the Executive Challenge as my personal goal byraising a minimum of $5,000; with my personal team goal of $10,000. I need yourhelp to reach these goals. We are raising critical dollars for heart diseaseand stroke research and education.

Your donation will help fight our nation's No. 1 and No. 5 killers - heartdisease and stroke. You are making a difference!

Will you support me and my efforts to fight the No. 1 killer of Americans -heart disease?

Imagine theimpact if we reduce death and disability from cardiovascular diseases andstroke by 20% by 2020!  I’m joining the American Heart Association's HeartWalk to promote physical activity to build healthier lives, free ofcardiovascular diseases and stroke. Please support me in helping to reach thislifesaving goal by giving a donation today by clicking on my personal linkbelow and visit my personal fundraising page to make a secure, tax-deductibleonline donation. Here's how youcan help fight heart disease:

-$25 gives 50people educational materials that teach them how to personally reduce theirrisk of heart diseases and stroke.

-$50 deliversthe message of healthy nutrition to elementary school students through lessonplans and activity guides.

-$100 allows onehospital to teach its patients, caregivers, and health professionals about therisks of stroke - the nation's No. 5 killer.

Heart diseaseand stroke impact all of us, but because of events like Heart Walk we can makea difference. Through education and research the American Heart Association isworking to build healthier lives.
