We’re excited to introduce a new layout for this year’s walk! Due to construction projects inside of the ballpark, we are moving our stage and festival outside onto Citizens Bank Way, where participants will enjoy:

  • A kid friendly, stroller friendly, and dog friendly walk
  • A 3 mile or 1 mile walk route
  • A festival area with a kid’s zone, refreshments, live entertainment, and much more!
  • Free parking

It’s also not too late to keep fundraising and score an invite to our VIP brunch in the Hall of Fame club, held for our top fundraisers! Anyone who raises $1,000 or more up until the morning of the walk will be invited to join us for breakfast from 9:30am-12pm. Top fundraisers also get to enjoy behind-the-scenes tours of the ballpark from 9:45-11:30am. We’d love to see you there!

Heart Walk: There is no fee to participate!
All registered walkers that raise $100 or more are eligible for a Heart Walk T-Shirt.  Shirts will be distributed in the new year by your AHA staff person.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's):


Q: Can I turn money in at the Heart Walk?

A: Yes – at the ticket window on Citizens Bank Way between the left field gate and third base gate. Money can be turned in after the Walk if you receive more donations, just reach out to your AHA staff person!


Q: Will there be activities for my kids?

A: Yes!  There will be a “Kids Zone” on Citizens Bank Way at the Heart Walk.  There will be all sorts of fun activities there including a moon bounce, basketball, appearances by the Phanatic and more!


Q: Are bathrooms accessible at the Walk?

A: Yes – bathrooms at Citizens Bank Park will be open which are located in the concourse. 


Q: Will First Aid be provided at the Walk?

A: Yes, there will be 2 EMT’s onsite during the whole event.  


Q: Can I run or is it just a walk?

A: Yes!  There is no official timing as the event is not a “race.”  Anyone who would like to run, is welcome to start off in the beginning of the pack!


Q: Can I bring my dog with me?

A: Yes (dogs are ok, woof)!  Please feel free to bring your furry friend to the Heart Walk.  Note: NO dogs will be allowed inside the stadium.  All dogs must remain outside of the concourse at all times.


Q: Will there be food provided at the Heart Walk and water on the routes?

A: Yes.  There will be a food tent on Citizens Bank Way for you to pick up a water bottle and a snack.  There are two water stations on the route.


Q: Where is a good meeting spot for my team?

A: Now that the Heart Walk kicks off at 8:30 AM (with the festival following), here are a few good meeting spots where you can meet your team - at Mike Schmidt statue which is at the third base gate or at Steve Carlton statue which is at the left field gate. 


Q: Where do I park and is it free?

A: Free parking is available to all participants in lots V, W, and X.


Q: Is the walk wheel chair accessible?

A: Yes!  The walk is accessible to wheelchairs, walkers, and strollers. We also have a one mile route for those who would like a shorter route.


Q: Where do I register on the day of the walk?

A: If you already registered online there is no need to check in the day of the walk, just show up and enjoy the day!  If you have donations to turn in or want to register day of you can do so at the ticket window on Citizens Bank Way.


Q: What is the timeline of the day?

A: Participants will begin to arrive at 8:00 AM.  We will have our program at 8:15 AM and kick off the walk at 8:30 AM.  After you are finished walking check out our festival that will run until noon!


Q: Where is Top Walker/VIP parking?

A: Top Walker/VIP Parking is in lot R.


Q: How do I enter the Top Walker brunch?

A: Upon arrival to the stadium, please go to the VIP Check-In located between the 3rd base gate and left field gate on Citizens Bank Way. The entrance to the Top Walker Brunch will be indicated with a multi-color balloon column.


Q: What is a Top Walker and how do I become one?

A: Top Walkers are participants that raise $1,000 or more.  Top Walkers get VIP parking, entrance to the Top Walker brunch, and a special prize that will be delivered with their t-shirt.
