11:30 AM Heart Healthly Expo and VIP Tent open
11:30 AM Assigned company photos begin
12:00 PM Opening Ceremonies
12:15 PM Warm-up led by the San Francisco Giants
12:20 PM Walk Begins
12:45 PM Food Tent opens for lunch
1:30 PM Event concludes
The Embarcadero stops for both Muni and BART allow easy access to Justin
Herman Plaza without having to worry about parking. The most conveniently
located parking garage is at 56 Clay St. (at Drumm St.)

How long is the walk?
The Heart Walk is a 5K or 3.1 mile non competitive walk.
There is also a Miracle Mile, 1-Mile, route available.
Are pets allowed?
Leashed dogs are welcome
at Justin Herman Plaza.
Will food be provided?
Lunch will be provided in the food tent. Top Walkers ($1,000+
fundraisers) will have a catered lunch in the VIP tent.
Will water be available?
Yes, there will be a two water stops along the route. Water is also
available throughout the festival area. Please bring your
own reusable water bottle as there will be no bottled water provided at

Where is First Aid?
First Aid assistance can be found next to the Registration tent.
Is the event accessible to people that are physically challenged?
Yes, the route is accessible to all.
Are strollers allowed on the path?
Strollers are allowed, but please be advised that the pathway can get very
crowded and it may be hard to navigate a stroller.
What if it rains on the day of the event?
The Heart Walk will go on, rain or shine. In the event of severe
weather conditions we will notify participants via the website about the status
of the event.
Can I still volunteer on
the event day if I did not sign up in advance?
Yes, please go to the
Volunteer Check-In tent located next to the Registration tent.
