 - Take I-210 Freeway East toward Pasadena
 - Take exit 22B for Arroyo Blvd toward Windsor Avenue
 - Turn right on North Arroyo Blvd
 - Make a slight right onto Rose Bowl Drive
 - Continue onto Rosemont Avenue

 - Take the I-210 Freeway West toward Pasadena
 - Take exit 24 for Mountain Street
 - Turn left onto West Mountain Street
 - Continue onto Seco Street

Why Walk?

The money raised through the Heart Walk funds research, and initiatives that promote the prevention, treatment and better patient care in the areas of cardiovascular disease, the leading killer in the United States. The American Heart Association is the nation's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to building healthier lives, free of heart disease and stroke.

Where is the walk?
Rose Bowl 

How long is the walk?
The Heart Walk is a 5K or 3.1 mile non competitive walk.

Are there any kids activities?
Yes! A Kids Zone will be available

Are dogs allowed?
Yes, leashed dogs are allowed and water bowls will be available for drinking.

Will food be provided?
There will be a food tent in the festival area for all participants with light refreshments.

Will water be available?
Yes, there is one water station along the walk route and one within the festival area.

Where are the bathrooms?
Restrooms are located at the event expo site.

Is the event handicap accessible?
Yes, the route is handicap accessible.

Are strollers allowed on the path?
Strollers are allowed.

What if it rains on the day of the event?
The Heart Walk will go on rain or shine. In the event of severe weather conditions we will notify participants via the website about the status of the event.

Fundraising Incentives

Participants that raise $100 or more will receive a Heart Walk t-shirt. Participants that raise $250+ are eligible for the t-shirt AND a prize certificate which they can use to redeem great prizes.
