Parking Information

  • 15th Avenue Lot-Directly East of Fairytale Town
  • Street parking on 15th & 16th Ave., 13th Street, Land Park Drive & Sutterville Road
  • Sac City College- 3835 Freeport Blvd- Classes will be in session so arrive early! ($2.00 to park)
  • We recommend being heart-healthy and taking public transportation, walking, or riding your bike if possible!

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is the walk?
Our Heart Walk festival area is at the corner of Freeport Boulevard and Sutterville Road. We are across the street from Starbucks, Robeks, Placer Title, and Pet's Paradise. Please note that the main address of William Land Park takes you to another side of the park.

How long is the walk?
The Heart Walk is a 5K or 3.1 mile non competitive walk. We also have a one mile Miracle Mile route for our heart disease and stroke survivors.

Are there any kids activities?
Yes! We will have our Kids Zone with several different activities made for your little ones. We will also have our Kids Heart Challenge (a series of small obstacle courses to get your little ones' hearts pumping) again!

Are dogs allowed?
Yes, leashed dogs are allowed. Please make sure to bring doggy bags and clean up after your pet to help keep William Land Park pristine!

Will food be provided?
There will be food samples in the festival area for all participants.

Will water be available?
Yes, there is one water station along the walk route and one within the festival area.

Where are the bathrooms?
Restrooms are located at the event expo site.

Is the event handicap accessible?
Yes, the route is handicap accessible.

Are strollers allowed on the path?
Strollers are allowed but we ask that you use common courtesy while on the walking path.

What if it rains on the day of the event?
The Heart Walk will go on rain or shine. In the event of severe weather conditions we will notify participants via the website about the status of the event.
