Join thousands of walkers from across Los Angeles as they step out to have fun, get inspired, & support a meaningful cause.

Parking Information
Parking is available at the Marina Green parking lot for $15, located directly across the street from Rainbow Lagoon Park, at the intersection of Shoreline Dr. and Shoreline Village Dr. Parking is also available at Shoreline Village (normal rates apply).

 - Take I-710 Freeway South toward Long Beach
 - Take exit 1C on the left toward Downtown Long Beach / Convention
   Center / Aquarium
 - Merge onto West Shoreline Drive
 - Follow the parking signs

Garden Grove
 - Take CA-22 Freeway West
 - Merge onto I-405 North
 - Make a slight right onto CA-22 / East 7th Street
 - Continue onto East 7th Street
 - Turn left onto Los Alamitos Avenue
 - Continue onto East Shoreline Drive
 - Follow the parking signs

 - Take the I-405 Freeway North
 - Make a slight right onto CA-22 / East 7th Street

Why Walk?

The money raised through the Heart Walk funds research, and initiatives that promote the prevention, treatment and better patient care in the areas of cardiovascular disease, the leading killer in the United States. The American Heart Association is the nation's largest voluntary health organization dedicated to building healthier lives, free of heart disease and stroke.

How long is the walk?
The Heart Walk is a 5K or 3.1 mile non competitive walk.

Are there any kids activities?
Yes! A Kids Zone will be available

Are dogs allowed?
Yes, leashed dogs are allowed and water bowls will be available for drinking.

Will food be provided?
There will be a food tent in the festival area for all participants with light refreshments.

Will water be available?
Yes, there is one water station along the walk route and one within the festival area.

Where are the bathrooms?
Restrooms are located at the event expo site.

Is the event handicap accessible?
Yes, the route is handicap accessible.

Are strollers allowed on the path?
Strollers are allowed.

What if it rains on the day of the event?
The Heart Walk will go on rain or shine. In the event of severe weather conditions we will notify participants via the website about the status of the event.
