The Route: 5K Walk and Survivor Route

Join thousands of walkers from across Los Angeles as they step out to have fun, get inspired, & support a meaningful cause.

Expo Opens: 7:30 am
Main Stage Ceremony Begins: 8:30 am
5K Walk & 1-Mile Survivor Stroll Begins: 9:00 am
Post-Walk Party: 9:30 - 11:00 am 

Parking Information
Parking is available at Real Life Church, located across the street from Bridgeport Park. ADA parking is located in the Bridgeport Elementary School parking lot. Overflow parking is available at Bridgeport Marketplace, after the lot at Real Life Church is full.

Canyon Country

-Head West on Soledad Canyon Road
-Continue on Soledad Canyon Road and take Newhall Ranch Road to Bridgeport Lane

-Take the I-5 North toward Sacramento
- Follow signs for I-5 North/Golden State Freeway
-Take exit 170 for Magic Mountain Parkway and turn right to remain on Magic Mountain Parkway 
-Turn left onto Mcbean Parkway

- Turn right onto Bridgeport Lane and the destination will be on the right

 

How long is the walk?
The Heart Walk is a 5K or 3.1 mile non competitive walk.

Are there any kids activities?
Yes! A Kids Zone will be available

Are dogs allowed?
Yes, leashed dogs are allowed and water bowls will be available for drinking.

Will food be provided?
There will be a food tent in the festival area for all participants with light refreshments.

Will water be available?
Yes, there is one water station along the walk route and one within the festival area.

Where are the bathrooms?
Restrooms are located at the event expo site.

Is the event handicap accessible?
Yes, the route is handicap accessible.

Are strollers allowed on the path?
Strollers are allowed.

What if it rains on the day of the event?
The Heart Walk will go on rain or shine. In the event of severe weather conditions we will notify participants via the website about the status of the event.

Fundraising Incentives

Participants that raise $100 or more will receive a Heart Walk t-shirt. Participants that raise $250+ are eligible for the t-shirt AND a prize certificate which they can use to redeem great prizes.
