Parking
The most conveniently located parking garage is at 56 Clay Street (at Drumm Street).

Public Transportation
Justin Herman Plaza is across the street from the Embarcadero BART station. MUNI also stops right next to the plaza.

Walk Route
The course is approximately 3 miles long and is a non-competitive, non-timed walk. The walk starts and ends at Justin Herman Plaza with participants walking to AT&T Park and back. There is a one-mile turn-around point for participants who prefer a shorter walk.

Lunch
A light lunch will be offered for all registered walkers in the festival area at Justin Herman Plaza after the walk. Walkers will have a choice of a chipotle turkey half-wrap with pepper jack, greens, green chile and garlic aioli, or a vegetarian half-wrap with portobello mushroom, white bean puree and spinach.

VIP Tent
Walkers who personally raise $1,000 or more prior to the walk will have access to the VIP Tent where they can enjoy a heart-healthy catered lunch, chair massages and seating.

Water
There will be a Hydration Station in the festival area where walkers can refill their water bottles. While compostable cups will be available, it is highly recommended that all event attendees bring their own water bottle so we can keep waste to a minimum and so that you can keep yourself hydrated throughout the duration of the event. In addition, there will be a water stop along the walk route, which walkers will pass twice because the route is an out and back.

Restrooms
Portable restrooms will be available at Justin Herman Plaza.

First Aid
EMTs will be available in the First Aid Tent, which will be located next to the Info/Donation Collection Tent. Additionally, there will be an ambulance on-site in case of emergencies.

T-Shirts
Registered walkers who personally raise $100 or more prior to the event will receive a 25th anniversary edition Heart Walk t-shirt. New this year, men's and women's sizes will be offered. Qualifying walkers can pick up their t-shirt the day of the walk from the T-Shirt Tent.

Heart & Stroke Heroes
Heart disease survivors will receive a red cap and stroke disease survivors will receive a white cap. Caps can be picked up from the Heart & Stroke Survivors booth. In addition, event attendees can honor their Heart Heroes, Stroke Heroes and Remembered Heroes at the Heroes Wall at the event.
