Chevron Heart Walk

This walk is an invitation-only event with a 1500-person capacity. To attend the event, you must register online in advance and be an employee of Chevron or PG&E. When this event reaches 1500 registrations, online registration will be closed. To secure your spot, we recommend you register early!

The walk starts and ends in Parking Lot 16, which is next to Building T. Walkers will walk the perimeter of Chevron's San Ramon headquarters, which takes approximately 30-45 minutes. Download the route map here.
Lunch will be provided to Chevron and PG&E employees who register online for the Chevron Heart Walk at www.heartwalkbayarea.org.
There will be a Hydration Station in the festival area where walkers can refill their water bottles. While compostable cups will be available, it is highly recommended that all event attendees bring their own water bottle so we can keep waste to a minimum and so that you can keep yourself hydrated throughout the duration of the event.
Portable restrooms will
be available in the festival area.
EMTs will be available in the First Aid Tent, which will be located next to the Info/Donation Collection Tent. Additionally, there will be an ambulance on-site in case of emergencies.
Registered walkers who personally raise $100 or more prior to the event will receive a 25th anniversary edition Heart Walk t-shirt. New this year, men's and women's sizes will be offered. Qualifying walkers can pick up their t-shirt the day of the walk from the T-Shirt Tent.
Interested in volunteering at the Chevron Heart Walk? We need volunteers for three shifts:
8:00 am - 12:00 pm Help set-up and assist in the festival area
11:00 am - 1:30 pm Assist AHA staff in the festival area
12:30 pm - 3:00 pm Help with festival area tear down

Heart & Stroke Heroes
Heart disease survivors will receive a red cap and stroke survivors will receive a white cap. Caps can be picked up from the Heart & Stroke Survivors booth. In addition, event attendees can honor their Heart Heroes, Strokes Heroes and Remembered Heroes at the Heroes Wall at the event.
