Last year you all helped me raise $1625 for the American Heart Association to help fund research, education and promote physical activity in an effort to keep hearts healthy. This cause is dear to me, as my family was personally affected by heart disease on Easter morning of March 23, 2008 when my family suddenly lost my dad to a heart attack. I have seen so many of my loved ones pass due to heart disease and that is why I choose to run for the American Heart Association. My goal this year is to beat both my time and amount raised for this great cause!
I’m joining the American Heart Association's Running Team to promote physical activity to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. I'm running for all the fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters and friends who have been affected. Any support is greatly appreciated as I run my SECOND marathon!
Keep those hearts healthy!
