As the principal of Dorn School, I’m excited for us to join the Kids Heart Challenge!
I will be raising funds and awareness to help kids with special hearts, support lifesaving research, and bring hope to families affected by heart disease and stroke. As a stroke survivor, this mission is especially close to my heart. I know firsthand how critical it is to recognize the signs of a stroke and act quickly. That is why it’s so important that even our youngest students learn what to do in an emergency. Knowing the warning signs and how to respond can truly save a life.
Through the Kids Heart Challenge, our students will learn what to do in an emergency and how to take care of our hearts and brains — all while helping kids with special hearts live longer, healthier lives.
