Hi! I’m Hank!
Every year, I look forward to participating in the Kids Heart Challenge. I have taken part for as long as my school has offered it, and this year is especially important to me because it is my final year before moving on to high school.
I love challenging myself to reach each new fundraising goal and seeing how much of a difference we can make together. Of course, I’m still a kid, so earning the fun rewards along the way makes each new goal even more exciting! But the best part is knowing that every donation helps save lives and supports kids and families affected by heart disease.
Last year, I worked really hard, donated some of the money I earned myself, and raised enough that my school’s gym was named after me! I was incredibly proud, and it made me want to make my final Kids Heart Challenge my best one yet.
While participating, I’m also learning how to keep my heart, brain, and lungs strong, how to save a life using Hands-Only CPR, how to recognize the warning signs of a stroke, and healthy ways to handle stress.
I would be so grateful if you would help me make this last year count by donating to the American Heart Association. Every donation—no matter the amount—helps make a difference and brings me one step closer to my goal!
