Our
Goal

Thank you for joining nearly 1 million Americans at 305 events across the country to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.

We are thrilled to be coming into our 15th year of lifesaving work, here in the Lewiston/Auburn area.  With cardiovascular diseases and stroke being the #1 killer of Mainer's, it is more important than ever to help us towards our impact goal; reducing death and disability 20% by the year 2020.

We invite you to make this a FUN walk for you, your family and your friends.   Give yourself a goal, personalize your page with your story, share your story with the world, recruit your friends, family and co-workers to join your team and come out, on September 10th, for a day of fun and celebration.  We encourage teams to dress up, bring props and have friendly competitions among other teams.   Who can raise the most?  Who has the biggest team?  Who has the best costumes?

The ideas are endless!
