Working together with our city officials and volunteer leaders, we have decided to proceed with the Polk County Heart Walk scheduled for Saturday, September 30th at Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium.

We are inviting everyone out to support the American Heart Association’s efforts to improve the community’s overall health and well-being and to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.

Those affected by Hurricane Irma in our surrounding communities are in our hearts and we and urge everyone to offer their support of those still facing hardships. We encourage all Heart Walk participants to  www.heart.org/hurricaneresources  to find information that may help someone you know.

We look forward to being with you on September 30th.
