Life is why we walk.
Thanks to all our walkers, donors and volunteers who have accepted the challenge to help fight heart disease and stroke. We cannot achieve our mission without each one of you!

Dr. Ramaro Yeleti, EVP/Chief Physician Executive for Community Health Network
Do you know a child between the ages of 5-12 years old? We encourage them to draw a picture and write a short description to answer "How do you keep your heart happy and healthy?" Drawings must be submitted by Wednesday, September 5, 2018. The winner will be announced on September 10th. The top 3 finalists will receive a family four pack to Sky Zone and will also be invited to attend the Indianapolis Heart Walk with their parents/guardians. PHYSICAL ACTIVITY IS KEY TO HEART HEALTH - Bring-a-Ball to the Heart Walk
The American Heart Association recommends kids get 60 minutes of exercise everyday. Sports help make this goal easier to achieve, but many children in the Indianapolis area don’t have access to equipment.
Join the American Heart Association and Niantic in helping get equipment to these kids. We’re asking all walkers to consider bringing a new sports ball to the Indianapolis Heart Walk. Any kind of ball will do, even playground balls. Niantic will then distribute these balls to kids in low-income neighborhoods.
