2019 Rochester Heart Walk & Run
April 6, 2019
Life is why we walk.
Thanks to all our walkers, donors and volunteers who have accepted the challenge to help fight heart disease and stroke. We cannot achieve our mission without each one of you!
*Run T-shirts will be available for pick up at the event on Saturday 4/6. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause - you will receive a coupon at packet pick-up to redeem.
T-shirts will be located near registration starting at 7:30 Saturday morning.
Thank you for your understanding.
By participating in the Heart Walk, you’re joining a million Heart Walk Heroes from across the nation raising funds for lifesaving science. Science that can teach us all how to live longer and be Healthy For Good.
Take a few minutes to consider the lives you are going to help change for the better through your leadership and donations. We’re talking more moms, dads, brothers, aunts and babies' lives saved. Help keep hearts everywhere beating. Let’s take steps together to cure heart disease and stroke.

Dan Burns serves as Senior Vice President and President of M&T Bank’s Rochester region. Burns joined M&T 30 years ago as part of the bank’s Management Development Program.
Since then, Burns has held numerous positions within the bank, and in 2004, became regional president. A lifelong resident of Rochester, Burns serves on the boards of the Greater Rochester Enterprise, YMCA of Greater Rochester, University of Rochester Medical Center, Flaum Eye Institute, Monroe Community College Foundation, and St. John Fisher College. He also serves as chair of the board of the United Way of Greater Rochester.
Burns earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance from St. Bonaventure University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester. He and his wife, Denise, have three children and live in Brighton, NY.
Donna Shultz formed Mirror Show Management (MSM), an experience design agency specializing in custom trade show exhibits, events and environments, over 25 years ago.
Of all the accolades her company has received, making the Rochester Top Workplaces, now five times in a row, means the most to her. She is equally proud that MSM has been an ESOP company since 2012, which makes every employee a part owner sharing in the company's success.
Donna is a member of the Women Presidents' Organization and is also highly active in the Rochester community. She serves on the Board of Directors of the United Way of Greater Rochester as well as on the Board of the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce. She and her husband Dan have two amazing girls and live in Fairport, NY.
Co-Chairing the 2019 Rochester Heart Walk & Run with Dan Burns is just amazing, as no one does more for the community than Dan!
