Did you know that our 2023 BCBSIL volunteer of the year, Kristine Uy is participating in and leading a team supporting the American Heart Association. It's a big, big deal that happens every year to help the American Heart Association raise money for important scientific research.

Don’t forget to join the 2024 Chicago Heart Walk Rally on Friday, September 20th, 2024 at Soldier Field from 11 AM to 1 PM.

Kristine’s mom had a heart attack in November of 2023 and her dad had a heart attack 3 months later in February of 2024. Kristine is walking for her parents. Kristine’s parents were part of AABRG events like FMSC in the past.
