Amnon grew up in Israel in the town of Tiberias located on the Sea of Galilee. As a teen he attended school and lived on an kibbutz in the upper Galil area of Northern Israel. Amnon served in the Israeli Army during the Lebanon war and in 1989 he emigrated to the U.S. and married his wife Janice. Amnon was well known in the agricultural community as he had a high level of expertise growing and managing diverse crops including flowers, leafy greens, and more.
Amnon was a wonderful husband and also a wonderful father to his 3 children: Eli, Talia, and Myan. They were the loves of his life and he was their fearless leader! There was one thing that rivaled his love for his family and that was his love of the game of golf! He absolutely loved all of the many guys he played with on Monday and Wednesday nights and any other time he was able to get out on the course. You were all truly such a blessing and he cherished the camaraderie with all of you.
Please join us today in playing the game that Amnon loved so much. Amnon is well known for his generous heart. He would be honored to know that this golf tournament will provide a donation to the American Heart Association. The AHA is a leader in heart health and all donations will go toward insuring that we are heart healthy, as Amnon would want us to be. Your participation and donations are welcomed and appreciated!
