We walk and fundraise for our sweet Brooks, for awareness and for research! Brooks was born with HLHS and passed away at 6.5 weeks old after contracting an infection post surgery.

Brooks brought so many people together and spread so much joy in his short life here on earth.

When Brooks contracted the infection and his liver wasn't functioning properly they did genetic testing to find answers. Through genetic testing we found out in addition to HLHS Brooks had the PKP2 gene mutation which can cause Arrythmagenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy. Jaclyn did genetic testing after this and found out she too has the PKP2 Gene Mutation and had tests and scans done by her cardiologist at Vanderbilt where she found out she has ARVC. Jaclyn received an ICD (pacemaker and defibrillator combo) in September 2023. And in June 2024 had to have an ablation after experiencing a Ventricular Tachycardia in April.

Brooks saved his mom's life and we walk and fundraise for her too!
