9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital die. My dear sister, Maryann died in 2019 from a heart attack. She had undiagnosed heart disease, like so many other women. Additionally, this year, I have had heart problems, and I am in the midst of discovering how to manage my heart condition along with some other health concerns.
