The stark reality is that 9 out of 10 people experiencing cardiac arrest without medical treatment do not survive. Immediate action from bystanders is undeniably crucial. Studies have proven that initiation of CPR and the use of an AED can dramatically improve survival chances. Less than half who experience cardiac arrest receive bystander CPR. The majority of incidents take place in the home, highlighting the need for widespread community accessibility to training and AEDs. Taking action empowers community members to effectively save lives.
