Why am I walking AHA’s Heart Walk? 

My reason is simple: heart disease is the leading cause of death in women; and many of the most important people in my life, both personally and professionally, are women.

I’ve also felt the impact of heart-related illness firsthand. In 2016, I lost my father to cancer and heart complications. More recently, I lost a cousin to a stroke.

I walk for those I’ve lost and for those I love. I walk to help save lives.
