The Endeavor EEH EUC team is walking this year with heavy hearts and strong purpose. We’re coming together to honor our teammate, Steve Battle, who we tragically lost earlier this year to heart disease.
Steve wasn’t just a colleague—he was a friend, a mentor, and the kind of person who always looked for ways to help others. He had a big heart, a quick wit, and a love for life that was contagious. Whether he was swapping Bears stories with the team or refereeing track and field events—a true passion of his—Steve brought dedication, laughter, and kindness to everything he did.
Now, we walk in his memory.
Heart disease is the No. 1 killer worldwide, and the impact is deeply personal for us. 9 out of 10 people who suffer a cardiac arrest outside the hospital do not survive. In most of those cases, no bystander CPR was performed—but we can help change that.
Cardiac arrests happen everywhere—at work, at home, on the field, in our neighborhoods—and the readiness of people like us can mean the difference between life and death.
That’s why we’re proud to support the American Heart Association:
-
To train more people in lifesaving CPR
-
To fund research for better prevention and treatment
-
To save lives—maybe even the life of someone you love
We invite you to walk with us, donate, or spread the word. Every step we take, and every dollar we raise, is for Steve—and for a future where more people survive heart disease and cardiac arrest.
Let’s walk together. Let’s honor Steve. Let’s save lives.
