My name is Josh Fleenor, and this campaign is deeply personal to me. Heart disease has shaped my family’s story for as long as I can remember. I lost my grandmother in her early 40s to an undiagnosed heart condition, a loss that rippled through generations. Years later, I lost my father to heart issues as well.
In 2017, my world stopped again when my daughter Dixie was born with a congenital heart defect. At just three months old, she underwent heart surgery. Watching my tiny baby fight for her life changed me forever. It made everything clearer, what matters, what does not, and what kind of legacy I wanted to build for my family and my community.
That moment became the catalyst for one of the biggest decisions of my life: taking the leap to start Pest Pros Pest Solutions. The courage, perspective, and sense of urgency that came from Dixie’s fight gave me the strength to build something meaningful, a company rooted in people, service, and impact.
Today, she is a thriving 8-year-old with a huge personality and an even bigger heart. But the reality is this: not everyone gets the early diagnosis, the right resources, or the outcome we were blessed with. And far too many women, mothers, daughters, sisters, leaders, are still losing their lives to cardiovascular disease, the leading cause of death in women.
This fundraiser means so much to me. I am committed to showing up, raising awareness, and pushing for real change.
I am proud to be part of Anh Phoong’s Woman of Impact team, and even prouder of the way she leads from the front, always championing this community, uplifting others, and turning awareness into real action. To be on her team is an honor, and contributing to this cause alongside her is something I take to heart in every sense.
Together, we are fighting for earlier diagnoses, better research, stronger support systems, and healthier futures for every woman and every family impacted by heart disease.
Thank you for supporting this mission, for standing with us, and for helping create lasting change.
Together, we are stronger against cardiovascular disease.
