Almost every one of us knows someone who has been affected by stroke and heart disease - which claim far too many lives. Now is our chance to make a difference!
Many years ago Heart Disease directly affected my family when my father had a heart attack. He not only was able to be helped by timely services (wonderful paramedics!), but he was able to get angioplasty-which at the time was cutting edge research. With education, lifestyle changes and a knowledgeable Cardiologist, he never had any further issues related to heart disease. I am riding so that everyone in the Buffalo and Western New York community learns more about stroke and heart disease, that vital funding goes towards community education efforts and lifesaving research methods and because without those efforts my father never would have been able to meet his grandchildren and for that we are all blessed!
