You ask, Why?
I ride for me, my family, my friends, and my community.
I ride because I have felt the pain of losing loved ones to heart disease, and I have witnessed firsthand the lasting impact of stroke through my father’s long-term health challenges. These experiences are daily reminders that heart disease and stroke don’t just affect individuals—they ripple through families, friendships, and entire communities.
The American Heart Association’s CycleNation event gives me the opportunity to turn that pain into purpose. Every mile I ride fuels research, prevention, and education so fewer families have to face what mine has endured. This isn’t just about riding a bike—it’s about creating hope, honoring those we’ve lost, supporting those still fighting, and building a healthier future for us all.
I ride because every heartbeat matters.
I ride for you!
