Almost every one of us knows someone who has been affected by stroke and/or heart disease - which claim far too many lives. Now is our chance to make a difference! 

I am Team Captain of HeartThrobs, riding with my team of "DiLuca+" family members at the 2026 CycleNation event. We need your help to make an impact. 

Personally, my loved-ones (parents, parents-in-law, husband, children, cousins, friends) have been impacted by heart disease/condtions &/or stroke; they havqe received excellent care. I am riding to raise funds & promote education about heart health, health care, prevention, CPR, research, and living a life of wellness.

As a healthcare practitioner & educator, I treated post-stroke & cardiac patients; I witnessed the impact of illness on the quality of life. I educated students & communities about the same, aiming to instill a prevention-mindset, to promote research, to administer an excellent rehab approach, and to model life-long learning & service to the community.
