My life changed in a heartbeat on July 18, 2014 when my dad unexpectedly suffered a heart attack and subsequent anoxic brain injury that left him unable to make medical decisions. Suddenly, at 21 years old, it became my responsibility to be my dad's advocate and number one cheerleader. I made it my mission to educate myself and connect with persons who can empower me with knowledge so I could intelligently participate in the discussions about my dad's care. I am forever grateful for the knowledge and support the American Heart Association community offers.
Being my dad's main caregiver for over four and half years has taught me that passion is my greatest motivator. Team Levine is dedicated to inspiring people to live a brain and heart healthy life. We ride at CycleNation to celebrate my dad's strength and honor his memory.
Almost every one of us knows someone who has been affected by stroke and heart disease - which claim far too many lives. Now is our chance to make a difference!
I am riding with my Team at a CycleNation event and we need your help to make an impact in our community. Join us by supporting the life-saving mission of the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association and become a champion of groundbreaking research, helping people live healthier, and saving lives!
Thank you in advance for supporting me with a donation today. Together, we have the power to stop the cycle of stroke and heart disease!
