You may know that I work with incredible doctors, many of which take care of patients that have suffered a stroke.
You may not know that a close relative of mine suffered a stroke in his thirties. Far too young. We're so blessed he's alive today, but his stroke has drastically changed his life. Simply put: strokes are debilitating.
Strokes are the leading cause of disability in America today.
That's why I choose to support the education and awareness activities of the American Stroke Association and the annual CycleNation event. My team and I will be riding again this year and raising money to continue the incredible work of educating us all on stroke care and stroke prevention.
