In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Heart Association. The work of this organization has always been important to Mary Ann. She has been a Coronary Care Nurse since graduating from Shadyside Hospital School of Nursing in 1974. She was a RN at Jameson Hospital from 1979 until she had to go on medical disability in 2014 due to MS. While at Jameson she was instrumental and creating the Cardiac Rehab Programs in the Hospital, she was responsible for the Cardiology Department for many years and was instrumental in developing both Cardiac Catheterization Labs at the hospital. She oversaw the training and certification process of PALS and ACLS for doctors and nurses in the hospital and many paramedics throughout Lawrence County. She ended her career as a Critical Care Nurse Educator at Jameson.
