As the 2025 Woman of Impact Pittsburgh, I am dedicated to raising awareness and funds for the American Heart Association (AHA) because I believe in the power of prevention and education when it comes to women's heart health. Heart disease is the leading cause of death among women, yet it is often overlooked and underestimated. My mother had a stroke in her early 60's and had another one in 2022 in which she passed from it. Heart disease also runs on my fathers side as my paternal grandmother also passed away from a stroke in her early 80's.
