I’m joining my sister’s Go Red for Women Woman of Impact team because this mission is personal on every level. As her younger sister, I’ve watched her lead with heart, strength, and an unwavering commitment to making a difference in our community—and I’m proud to stand beside her.
As a daughter and an aunt, I want a future where the women in my family—and in every Maine community—have access to the education, care, and support they need to live long, healthy lives. As a survivor of addiction, I understand what it means to fight for your life and reclaim your health, and I know how powerful prevention, education, and early intervention can be.
As an emergency room registered nurse with MaineHealth and a future nurse practitioner, I see firsthand the devastating impact cardiovascular disease has on women every single day. I care for patients at some of their most vulnerable moments, and too often, heart disease is the common thread. These aren’t just statistics—they’re mothers, sisters, daughters, and friends.
By raising critical funds for Go Red for Women, I hope to help change outcomes for women across Maine. This work saves lives, strengthens families, and builds healthier communities—and that’s a cause worth fighting for.
