I’m proud to be on a team of changemakers making a real impact on the state of women’s health. Heart disease and stroke are deeply personal to me. My dad survived a stroke just seven months ago, I lost my uncle to congestive heart failure, and in 2021 I experienced a blood clot that traveled from my leg to both lungs—an experience that completely changed how I view my health.
As a marathon runner who loves to move, train, and get others active—even while working a desk job—I truly believe movement is medicine. Through the American Heart Association, I’m committed to raising awareness, encouraging healthier habits, and supporting lifesaving research so fewer families have to experience the fear, loss, and uncertainty that heart disease and stroke can cause.
