I’m incredibly honored to be nominated for the Go Red for Women’s Woman of Impact campaign in support of the American Heart Association. This cause is deeply personal to me. My grandmother survived a massive heart attack in her 40s, and I later lost my grandfather to a stroke. Their experiences shaped my understanding of how serious—and how close to home—heart disease can be, especially for women.
As part of this year’s nationwide class of changemakers, I’ve brought together a passionate team committed to making a meaningful difference in women’s heart health. Together, we’re raising critical funds for the American Heart Association and working to improve the health and well-being of our communities. I truly hope I can count on your support as we take on this important work.
Since 2004, Go Red for Women has been closing the awareness and care gaps around cardiovascular disease—the leading cause of death in women. While progress has been made, there is still so much more to do. Go Red for Women continues to fund women-focused research, empower women to live healthier lives, and support heart health through every age, stage, and season of life.
Our team is driven by purpose and focused on impact. We’re building awareness, encouraging healthy lifestyles, and raising the funds needed to save lives—because together, we are stronger against heart disease.
If this mission speaks to you, I invite you to join my team. By joining, you’ll help amplify awareness and increase the funds we can raise for women’s heart health. Simply scroll to the Team Roster and click “Join this Nominee.”
