I am honored to be a nominee for the American Heart Association’s Woman of Impact campaign, a cause deeply connected to my heart and the Mitchell family. This campaign empowers women to raise critical funds for heart health, aligning with the Go Red for Women movement to fight cardiovascular diseases, the leading cause of death for women.
In loving memory of my mom, Judy, who devoted her life to caring for others as a dedicated caregiver and community mother, I am committed to making a meaningful impact. My mom's recent passing in December, has reminded me of how her legacy of selflessness and love inspired everyone around her, and through this campaign, we can honor her memory by advancing heart health and supporting life-saving research.
Through the Woman of Impact campaign, we are contributing to a future where women's health is amplified. The woman who raises the most funds in Michigan will go on to represent our state in the national Woman of Impact campaign, furthering the fight for heart health across the country.
Together, help my sister Kylee and I celebrate Judy’s legacy and work towards a healthier future for women everywhere.
