I'm proud to be on a team of changemakers making a real impact on the state of women's health.
Cardiovascular disease is the No. 1 killer of women. The American Heart Association Go Red for Women movement's Woman of Impact campaign is working to change that.
8 years ago, my friend Heather experienced sudden cardiac arrest at 28 years old. Luckily, her coworkers knew what to do and were able to save her life with CPR and an AED. However, most people aren't as lucky, but the American Heart Association is trying to change that. I'm helping Heather to raise funds for the AHA, an organization committed to funding research and CPR/AED training and education. They have helped so many people, including Heather and her son, Easton. In honor of Heather and the 1 in 5 people who suffer from heart disease, I am asking YOU to make a donation today. Whether you donate or not, I also ask that you pass this message and link on to 5 other people. Let's save lives TOGETHER!
It's not just about wearing red. It's not just about sharing heart health facts. It's about all women connecting and committing to stand together against our greatest health threat.
