Cardiovascular disease is the No. 1 killer of women. The American Heart Association Go Red for Women movement's Woman of Impact campaign is working to change that.

The part that brought me to Women of Impact.

Somewhere along the way, heart failure stopped being something "other people" dealt with. It became personal. Family. Friends. Losses that leave a mark and change the way you see the future.

Those losses became my why.

I joined Women of Impact with one clear mission: to inspire women to take their health seriously, prioritize lifestyle and well-being, and choose habits that help them live longer, stronger, more vibrant lives. Not just for themselves, but for the daughters watching. The grandbabies growing. The people who still need them here.
