I'm incredibly honored to share that I've been nominated for the 2026 Woman of Impact Award.
This nomination is deeply personal to me. My daughter, Kadence, was born with a bicuspid aortic valve, a congenital heart condition that requires lifelong awareness, monitoring, and heart-healthy habits. Watching her grow has reinforced just how important it is to prioritize heart health early-through education, active lifestyles, and healthy choices.
Heart disease has touched my family across generations. I also lost my grandfather to heart disease at the young age of 64. He experienced warning signs but didn't recognize them, simply because he wasn't aware of what to look for. His story fuels my commitment to spreading awareness so others can recognize the signs, take action sooner, and advocate for their health.
That's why I'm proud to fundraise on behalf of the American Heart Association, whose mission supports research, education, and prevention for both congenital and acquired heart disease.
If you're able, I would be incredibly grateful for your support. Every donation-big or small-helps promote healthier lifestyles, raise awareness, and turn this nomination into real, life-saving impact.
Thank you for standing with me, supporting my family's story, and helping me create change from the heart.
