What's YOUR Heart Story?
When I began my CoachTMG Nonprofit Consulting Business six years ago, I started my business because I was tired of losing loved ones and heart-centered leaders to burnout, health issues, stress, mental health, and tragedy.
Heart disease is universal.
We cannot share our stories, love others, experience joy, nor the totality of life without our beating hearts.
In 2019, my dad was spared because my mom knew something was amiss.
Because of my mom's keen sense, the doctor's rushed to do a triple bypass on my dad. If my parents had waited, my dad would not be alive today to share his TERRIBLE dad jokes that we can't live without.
Then, my mom's heart started skipping a beat.
My mom. My mom holds the world on her shoulders. My mom goes to bat for everyone except herself. My mom often overextends herself because she was taught service above self.
Almost every phenomenal woman leader that I know are similar to my mom in this sense. Heck! SO AM I, even if I'm working to take greater care of myself.
In 2025, I lost my uncle due to an infection. He told me, “Tiffy, in all who you are and what you do for this world, you are the HEART of everyone who knows you.”
Fitting that on October 16, 2025, his first Heavenly Birthday, I would be named a Woman of Impact Nominee with the American Heart Association.
So, from one heart to another: I need your help. I need your heart story. Together, we can advocate for ALL the hearts in our lives, including our own!

Cardiovascular disease is the No. 1 killer of women. The American Heart Association Go Red for Women movement's Woman of Impact campaign is working to change that.
Heart disease unfairly targets women, who have been left out of research, testing, treatment and funding. Women have been underrepresented, undertreated and undercounted. But it doesn't have to be this way. Because there's one source of support women can always count on - each other.
Since 2004, Go Red for Women has been addressing the awareness and clinical care gaps of the leading cause of cardiovascular disease death in women. But there is still so much work to be done. Go Red for Women is committed to funding women-centric research, empowering women to live healthy, and supporting women in reducing their risk of cardiovascular disease through all ages, stages and seasons of life.
Together, we can engage more women in research. We can fight for access to care and treatments. And we can be a catalyst to create health solutions with women's unique health needs in mind, supporting them through every age, stage and season of life.
American Heart Association is driven by purpose and focused on impact.
It's not just about wearing red. It's not just about sharing heart health facts. It's about all women, friends, colleagues, leaders, community members, family, and friends connecting and committing to stand together against our greatest health threat.
We're building awareness, promoting healthy lifestyles and raising critical funds. Because together, we're stronger against cardiovascular disease.
