BRWSA is proud to be on a team of changemakers making a real impact on the state of women's health.
Heart disease is the No. 1 cause of death for women in the United States, yet far too many women—especially Black women and women of color—are diagnosed too late, treated too slowly, or not taken seriously when they speak up.
These are our mothers.
Our sisters.
Our aunties.
Our friends.
The women who show up, hold families together, and pour into everyone around them.
The American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women movement is working to change this by funding research, expanding access to care, and advocating for health solutions designed with women in mind—at every age and every stage of life.
Through Black Restaurant Week San Antonio, we’re proud to stand with this effort and help turn awareness into action. Because caring for our culture also means caring for the hearts that sustain it.
Join us in supporting healthier hearts and stronger communities.
Thank you.
