If you had the chance to save lives… would you take it?
I’m honored to share that I am once again participating in the American Heart Association’s Women of Impact Campaign along with our Fearless Hearts Team.
Heart disease continues to be the #1 killer worldwide, and stroke follows closely behind. Every 34 seconds, cardiovascular disease claims another life. I’ve experienced this devastating loss firsthand: mi mami, Carmen, passed away at just 54 from a sudden heart attack, and my daughter, Viviana, lost her life at 1 year old due to cardiac arrest. Their memories fuel my purpose. They are the reason I will never stop raising my voice, sharing heart health education, and fighting for prevention and research.
Why I’m Showing Up Again in 2026
For me, this is not just a campaign…it is my purpose. I will do whatever I can do so that no families experience the heartbreak that mine endured. I am more committed than ever to promoting heart health for women, helping others understand their risks, and empowering each other to take charge of our wellbeing.
How You Can Help
- Starting February 6 at 9:00 AM, you can make a tax‑deductible donation by clicking the Donate button. The campaign runs through April 9 at 9:00 PM.
- Help spread the word. Many people have been affected by cardiovascular disease, and your sharing may reach someone who needs this message.
- And just like before, I will move one mile (running, walking, or biking) for every person who donates in support of this campaign.
Every donation, every shared message, every conversation about heart health truly matters. If one person learns something new, makes a change, gets screened, starts moving, or influences someone else to care for their heart—then together, we have made a difference.
For Mami.
For Vivi.
For every woman.
For every family.
Thank you in advance and sending blessings to you.
