Help Me Save and Change Lives!

Join Deanna Zuber to Rally Behind Michelle Rezewski – A True Woman of Impact

I’m proud to be on a team of changemakers making a real impact on the state of women’s health.

Cardiovascular disease is the No. 1 killer of women. The American Heart Association Go Red for Women movement’s Woman of Impact campaign is working to change that.

Some stories demand to be heard. Some lives are spared for a purpose. Michelle Rezewski’s journey is one of them.

A devoted wife, mother, a fierce survivor, and a relentless fighter, Michelle’s life changed in an instant when a devastating stroke left her wheelchair-bound. It was her 9-year-old son’s quick thinking—calling 911—that saved her life. But what makes her story even more heartbreaking is that it could have been prevented. Misdiagnosed with migraines, Michelle was actually battling moyamoya, a rare cerebrovascular disease that narrows the blood supply to the brain causing strokes, seizures and neurological deficits.

She refuses to let her suffering be in vain. “I don’t want my stroke and all that I have suffered to be for nothing,” she says. And that’s why this moment matters. This isn’t just about recognition it’s about rallying behind her, amplifying her voice, and ensuring that her story saves lives.

Michelle is a miracle. She embodies resilience, courage, and purpose. Her journey is a call to action for better awareness, earlier diagnosis, and the power of a community to lift one another up.

Together, we can engage more women in research. We can fight for equitable access to care and treatments. And we can be a catalyst to create health solutions with women’s unique health needs in mind, supporting them through every age, stage, and season of life.

Michelle is made for more. And today, we stand with her. The time is now.  Are you with me? To support my campaign, click the Donate button.
