I'm honored to be nominated for the 2026 Woman of Impact campaign by the American Heart Association. This mission is personal.
I grew up with a front-row seat to the realities of heart disease—watching my father, a cardiologist, fight to save lives that could have been protected earlier if only symptoms had been recognized or care had been accessible. We later co-authored a published article together challenging the common belief that “good” cholesterol means low risk—because too often, that’s not true for women.
As Chief Operating Officer of Baron Family Law, I see how quickly life can change. Whether it’s a divorce, custody battle, or a sudden medical crisis, women carry the weight. We’re often under-diagnosed, dismissed, or overlooked—especially when our symptoms don’t fit the mold. It’s time to change that.
This campaign is about more than awareness. It’s about advocacy, funding lifesaving research, and creating a world where women’s health is seen, prioritized, and protected.
We’re building an Impact Team here in Sacramento and across California to raise critical funds and educate our communities—because knowing the signs, asking the right questions, and demanding better care saves lives.
And this year, I’m celebrating my 40th birthday by dedicating it to this cause.
