Nice to meet you! My name is Jonathan Yii, and I am thrilled to lead this Teen of Impact campaign with the American Heart Association.
The American Heart Association's mission isn't just important – its the reason I'm still here. I was born with a congenital heart condition that led to three open heart surgeries, and I learned early that a patient's heartbeat carries more than just anatomical physiology – it carries an entire family's hope, fear, and uncertainty. The miracle of modern medicine only exists because of people who chose to invest in progress.
That is why I am taking on this campaign: to turn my life's story & ambitions into action. Every donation supports the AHA's work in the research, prevention, and advocacy of cardiac care – work that informs communities, connects individuals, and grants patients the second chances I was given more than a decade ago.
If you're able, I'm asking you to donate and share this fundraiser to spread the message of the AHA. No amount is too small, and every contribution moves us closer to a future that negates the worries of cardiac disease so more families and individuals alike can spend their lives in each moment of the present.
Thank YOU for believing in this mission – my mission – and for helping make a real impact.
